Idea

The resort is located in a picturesque area of the Moscow Region. Total area of the site – 10 hectares (24.7 acres). Reconstruction project includes renovation of guestrooms, construction of an engineering block and a bathhouse, landscaping of an abandoned pond with its future transformation into a leisure area with a beach.

Architectural and design solutions

The original project provided for an extremely straightforward arrangement of the territory with two trapezes between the main entrance from the road and the northern boarded of the site. Each of the trapezes was cut by a network of walkways. Living blocks are located on the plots between the walkways. It was logical to maintain the original arrangement of the territory so the new constructions under the project will be placed in the existing coordinates meeting all the current design specifications.

Bathhouse with a swimming pool should appear in the northern part of the territory next to the beach. This architectural complex was designed to have rooms with natural lighting but being covered from the eye of those who are outside. The solution was found in the vertical sunshades based on timber beams with cross section of 50*200 mm, that cover windows, AC outdoor units, engineering elements and the log storage. The vertical rhythm of beams masks the complex arrangement of the main space. We avoided common design solutions for bathhouses and created a modern and advanced architectural structure.

A residential block with guestrooms should appear to the south. We have created three spacious and comfortable room designs each with a private entrance. Particular attention was paid to landscaping of the abandoned pond. Under the project it will be connected to the river and become a parking area for motor boats. Size of the pond will be expanded, banks should be reinforced to be able to serve as a promenade with trees, benches and ramps to the water.
